1.  All work undertaken by J Stuart's removals is subject to these terms of business unless otherwise agreed in writing by us.

2.  Our insurance excess is £300.00. Our maximum insurance cover is £15000.00 (fifteen thousand pounds only) Our insurance pays the value of the damaged item at the time it was broken and not for amount the item cost new, this is called market value insurance and NOT new for old.

3. We do not insure flatpack system built kit form furniture.  all electrical items without phisical signs of damage. Picture glass, glass and pictures without a frame.

4. We will not cover the value of a collection or set if part of a collection or set is broken.

5. We do not enter loft hatches, windows above the ground floor, or work from flat roofs.

6. Our quotation does not include penalty charge notices, these will be added to your quotation if a fine is issued.

7. We may change your quotation if we are requested to deliver furniture above the first floor, if the lift does not work.

8. We may refuse to deliver if: The lift does not work, an access point is dangerous, or we have not been paid.

9.  All work must be paid for in advance of your removal or on the day in cash. Non payment could result in our legal right of lean over your effects until payment has been made in full and we are in receipt of cleared funds.

10. Cancellation less than 48hours notice is charged at 50% of your quotation and less then 24hours notice is charged at 100%
